On behalf of the German Institute for Climate Services (GERICS), concept m is conducting the first qualitative study covering 10 countries — including Germany, Italy, the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, South Africa, China, India and Australia.
The study explores how climate science messages are perceived and communicated in different regions — and how we can make them clearer, more trust-building and more solution-oriented ahead of COP30.
As underlined by Prof. Dr. Daniela Jacob, Director of GERICS (Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon), this research aims to strengthen trust in climate science and improve its impact in public debate and decision-making.
Her official letter of support emphasizes the importance of understanding how messages are received across sectors and societies — and invites experts worldwide to contribute their perspective.
